What is Chromax ?
Chromax claims to produce a formula "with the most clinically tested and effective form of essential chromium available on the market today." It promises to help you control insulin levels and achieve higher energy levels. Its singular ingredient is chromium picolinate.
What Ingredients are in Chromax ?
Chromax has done things like trying to claim their product is "deemed safe" by the FDA, but the FDA does not approve natural supplements. As such, the FTC investigated their manufacturers, Nutrition 21, in 1996 for unsubstantiated claims. As a result, they are no longer allowed to claim that Chromax reduces body fat, causes weight loss, causes weight loss without diet or exercise, etc. And while there is a patented form of chromium known as ChromeMate, Chromax does not use this.
What Else Should I Know about Chromax ?
Chromax is a questionable product at best, with an undesirable history. It retails for $18.99 per 75 capsules, which is pretty cheap. But any amount of money spent on Chromax is money wasted.
