What is Banital?

"Lose weight or double your money back." The only other place we've heard that was on the old show Home Improvement, when Al was trying to sell a board game. As we recall, he lost his savings, because the game spontaneously caught on fire. Like the made up board game, Banital is an "as seen on TV" product. It claims to use a quad action formula to raise carb metabolism, fat metabolism, appetite suppression, and energy levels. Actual ingredients include green tea, peppermint leaf, cinnamon, chamomile, ginger root, licorice, tangerine peel, chicory root, gymnema sylvestre, aloe vera, bitter melon, citrus aurantium, lycium berry, chitosan, and glucomannan.

What Ingredients are in Banital?

Banital does actually contain a few proven ingredients, but no quantities are provided. Glucomannan for one requires a minimum of 1g or 1000mg to provide the desired results, and if they did use that much, Banital would probably brag about it. Their double your money back guarantee actually requires you to have Banital recommended by a doctor, have your weight recorded before taking Banital, and have your weight recorded 25 days after taking Banital. Our guess is no doctor would actually recommend this product in the first place. Their regular guarantee is only a 30 day guarantee, and you still have to call into customer support, get an RMA number, and then send in unopened bottles only for a refund.

What Else Should I Know about Banital?

Banital makes consumers jump through a bunch of hoops, and they offer 2 different prices for a one month supply: $79.95 and $139.75. Our guess is that if you sign up for an auto-ship that you have to call and argue with them to cancel, you get the $79.95 price, but otherwise have to pay the higher price. Either price is too high to pay for most supplements, let alone this one.
